Champions League Semi-Final: Real Madrid and Manchester City Draw 1-1

Unbeaten City Stunned by Vinicius Junior's Opener

De Bruyne Levels Score in Thrilling First-Leg Clash

Real Madrid and Manchester City played out an entertaining 1-1 draw in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday.

Brazilian winger Vinicius Junior gave the hosts the lead in the 20th minute with a stunning solo goal. He left Kyle Walker for dead with an explosive burst of pace before firing a low drive past Ederson Moraes.

City responded well and deservedly equalized through Kevin De Bruyne's spectacular strike in the 69th minute. The Belgian midfielder controlled a cross-field pass with his chest before unleashing an unstoppable 25-yard shot into the top corner.

The draw means City is still unbeaten in their last 22 European matches, while Madrid has scored in every home Champions League knockout game since April 2011.

The second leg of the semi-final will take place at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday, May 7.
