Celtics Conquer Cavaliers, Advance to Eastern Finals

Game 5 Victory Seals Series

The Boston Celtics secured their berth in the Eastern Conference Finals with a resounding 113-98 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 5 on Tuesday. The Celtics closed out the series 4-1, advancing to face the Miami Heat in the next round.

Dominant Performance from Celtics

Led by Jayson Tatum's 24 points and 11 rebounds, the Celtics controlled the game from start to finish. They shot a blistering 47.3% from the field and held the Cavaliers to just 37.1%. Al Horford contributed 17 points and 12 rebounds, while Jaylen Brown added 16 points.

For the Cavaliers, Darius Garland led the way with 22 points, followed by Evan Mobley with 17 points. However, the Celtics' defense clamped down on the Cavaliers' key players, limiting Donovan Mitchell to 13 points on 5-of-19 shooting.

The Celtics will now face the Heat in the Eastern Finals, a rematch of last year's conference finals. Game 1 is scheduled for Wednesday, May 17, at TD Garden in Boston.
