Social media users face disruption
Facebook and Instagram users were unable to access the platforms for several hours on Thursday, July 7th.

AT&T's network also went down for many of its customers across the United States on Thursday morning. The outage, which began around 9:00 AM EDT, affected both mobile and landline customers. AT&T did not immediately provide an explanation for the outage, but it said it was working to resolve the issue. The outage comes as AT&T is facing increasing competition from other wireless carriers.
