The John Deere Classic field list has been finalized, with Russell Henley, Denny McCarthy, Sepp Straka, and RBC Canadian Open winner Nick Taylor among the notable commits.

Henley, a two-time PGA TOUR winner, is making his first appearance at TPC Deere Run since 2018. McCarthy, who won the Wells Fargo Championship earlier this season, is also making his tournament debut.

Straka, the reigning Honda Classic champion, will be seeking his second PGA TOUR victory of the season. Taylor, who won the RBC Canadian Open last week, is making his second appearance at TPC Deere Run.

Tournament Details and Purse

The John Deere Classic will be held from June 27-July 3 at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois. The purse is $7.4 million.

The tournament is the final event on the PGA TOUR schedule before the Open Championship at Royal Liverpool.

Straka shot the lowest closing round in the Quad Cities in 41 years, a blistering 62, to put himself in position to become the first player to win the John Deere Classic in three consecutive years.

Straka's round included eight birdies and no bogeys. He finished the tournament at 19-under 265, one stroke ahead of Emiliano Grillo.

Straka's victory was his second on the PGA TOUR. He also won the Honda Classic earlier this season.
