Aew Dynamite Attendance Is The Bubble About To Burst

AEW Dynamite Attendance: Is the Bubble About to Burst?

Here's the latest on AEW Dynamite attendance figures and what they could mean for the company's future.

WrestleTix, which tracks wrestling ticket sales, is reporting that the July 3 episode of Dynamite at the 11,400-seat Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas, drew 11,400 fans, which is below the venue's capacity. This is the second consecutive week that Dynamite has failed to sell out its venue, following the June 27 episode, which drew 10,500 fans to the 12,000-seat Cable Dahmer Arena in Independence, Missouri.

The declining attendance figures come at a time when AEW is facing increased competition from WWE, which has been putting on strong shows of its own in recent weeks. WWE's SmackDown on Fox has been averaging over 2 million viewers in recent weeks, while AEW Dynamite has been averaging around 1 million viewers. AEW's pay-per-view buyrates have also been declining in recent months.

It is too early to say whether the declining attendance figures are a sign of trouble for AEW. However, the company will need to address the issue if it wants to maintain its momentum.
