Black Desert Console Players Now Brave the Mountain of Eternal Winter
Lands of Eternal Snow and New Monster Zones Await

Winter has come to the console versions of Black Desert Online as the Mountain of Eternal Winter expansion finally arrives on PlayStation and Xbox. The frigid snow-covered Mountain of Eternal Winter opens on August 7th, 2024, bringing with it a new region to explore, filled with new monster zones.
Black Desert's newest region, the Mountain of Eternal Winter, is a land of eternal snow. The expansion introduces new areas to explore, including the Great Glacier, the Ruins of Sycrakea, and the Ancient Stone Chamber. These areas are home to new monsters, including the Snow Queen, the Frost Giant, and the Yeti.
In addition to the new region, the Mountain of Eternal Winter expansion also includes a number of new features, including:
- A new character class, the Drakania
- New weapons and armor
- New quests and storylines
- New life skills
